Are there still deals to be had in this real estate market?

As we all know by now, ours is a very hot seller’s market. Many are looking for properties to buy, but they want the best deals. So where are all the deals? Are there even any in this market?

The answer is yes—there are always deals in the market. In fact, we’re bringing an unbelievable deal to the market right now. Soon to be listed, we have a townhouse that’s four houses to the beach and is priced just under $1 million. This property is a bit dated and does need some work, but that’s par for the course when it comes to deals.

You can’t typically get a deal on perfect properties, but if you’re willing to take on a property that needs work done, it can be a great buy. You can fix it and flip it or hold it. For the property we mentioned, you could do $100,000 worth of renovations inside and wind up selling it for over $1 million. You’d just have to go through the process of renovating the kitchen, bathrooms, and floors. The outside is all new and doesn’t require any work.
