According to the Wall Street Journal, Ocean City, NJ #1 and North Wildwood, NJ #2 are within the top 10 best places to buy a vacation home in the United States.
Ocean City was the most searched city in the past 12 months, making it the number one best area. The median asking price is $525,000.
North Wilwood was named the second best city to buy a vacation home. Homes are near the water and have a median asking price of $289,000.
The Wall Street Journal reports that the economy in the East is improving; lending and mortgage rates are low, making it easier for Americans to get back into real estate.
