As Hurricane Sandy hits the East Coast, The Jeff Quintin Real Estate Super Team hopes everyone will stay safe. This historic storm is projected to bring record storm surges, high winds, pelting rain, and possible power outages followed by temperatures in the low-40s.
For New Jersey residents, the main concern will be storm surges continuing through multiple tide cycles, lasting until Tuesday afternoon in some areas. In addition, due to the storm’s slow pace across the Northeast, destructive winds could be sustained throughout the entire week. The Jersey Shore is projected to be one of the communities most affected by continued high wind speeds. To stay up-to-date on Hurricane Sandy throughout the week, visit the New Jersey Office of Emergency Management website.
Even after the storm passes, Sandy’s impact could be felt throughout the East Coast for months. If your home receives damage, the Jeff Quintin Real Estate Super Team will be there to help. We already have handymen on call to repair damage and will be glad to be your resource for any property restoration needs.
